Common Reasons

1. Close Other Apps Using Your Webcam

The #1 cause of camera failures: another application is already using it. Close Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Skype, OBS Studio, Discord — anything that might access your camera. On Windows, check the system tray (bottom-right corner) for background apps.

2. Check Browser Camera Permissions

Most browsers block camera access by default. Look for the 🔒 or 📷 icon in your address bar. Click it and make sure camera access is set to "Allow". If you accidentally clicked "Block", you'll need to reset this in your browser settings.

3. Restart Your Browser or Computer
